Train

Traveling by train is good choice for traveling in The Netherlands. Overall our train transport system is very well organized.
To plan your train journey in The Netherlands, we recommend using the NS website, which is the principal passenger railway operator in the Netherlands. It provides information and guidance about railway traveling in The Netherlands in English.
If traveling from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, there are direct routes available. These can also be found on the NS website.

Bus

The University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) is in walkable distance from the train station (1.8 KM). It is also possible to take the bus from the station to the UMCG. There are a number of lines that will take you there. We recommend to use the 9292.nl (also available in English) to find appropriate routes.
